The rollout for DJ Khaled’s Father of Asahd has been so intense, the We The Best team had to move the upcoming documentary screening to a bigger venue (Harlem’s historic Apollo Theater).

In the spirit of keeping up the momentum, Khaled Khaled has unleashed the vibrant cover art for the forthcoming project and it marks his mogul-in-the-making son’s third consecutive album cover.

Check back into HipHopDX this Friday (May 17) to listen to the album in full.

DJ Khaled’s Father Of Asahd album has an official release date. After announcing the LP earlier this month, the King Of Snapchat has revealed his project is due out on May 17.

“MAKING FATHER OF ASAHD ALBUM, I MADE SURE I WENT TO MY ROOTS THAT MADE ME THE MAN I AM NOW !” he wrote on Instagram. “CLIMB THE HOLY MOUNTAIN WIT ME FATHER OF ASAHD MAY 17 ! ITS ALL IN GOD AND ASAHD HANDS @wethebestmusic @rocnation @epicrecordsITS COMING ITS CLOSE ITS NEAR ! MAY 17 !”

Khaled has promoted the release date heavily on social media, sharing it in a number of posts across multiple platforms. The Hip Hop mogul even pushed the LP’s release date while hosting the 2019 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, which took place at the Galen Center in Los Angeles on Saturday (March 23).

Father Of Asahd will be Khaled’s eleventh studio album and his first project since 2017’s Grateful. The LP is expected to include the single “No Brainer,” which dropped last summer and features contributions by Chance The Rapper, Quavo and Justin Bieber.
