Maya Rudolph and Amy Poehler have teamed up for a Netflix movie and it looks hilarious

We know what you’re thinking. Ever since Maya Rudolph and Amy Poehler saved the host-less Oscars this year with their infectious chemistry and humour, WHEN ARE WE GETTING THEM ON-SCREEN TOGETHER?

Well, May 10th to be exact.

Netflix’s latest movie venture, Wine Country, will follow Rachel Dratch as Rebecca, who gets away to Napa Valley with a group of friends (played by Poehler and Rudolph, along with fellow BFFs Ana Gasteyer, Tina Fey, Paula Pell, and Emily Spivey) for her 50th birthday – when, like all good birthdays, many glasses of wine are drank, and the secrets of their lifelong friendships surface.

In the trailer, Tina Fey can be heard saying: “Just remember, guys, whatever gets said is probably what the person has always felt and the alcohol just let it out.” Relatable.

The comedy featuring some of the best females in the biz is guaranteed to be a hit, perfectly demonstrating the members that every friendship group has – the one that gets too drunk, the sensible one that plans a full itinerary, the one that thinks they’re still 18 and the one that quite frankly has no idea what’s going on with their life.

Can’t wait until it comes out? Here are our best picks of what Netflix has to offer…
