Could this be the dreamiest eye gel on the market?
Amazon says it sells one of its Wake Skincare Eye Gels every two minutes. It’s a hydrating eye serum that promises to blitz puffy eyes, dark circles, eye bags, crows feet and wrinkles. So, basically, it’ll make us look bright and beautiful, even after a big night. It’s made from all natural products.
And best of all, it’s just £16.95.
Influencers and beauty fans are raving about the effect this stuff has had on their faces. This nifty little jar of miracles has had hundreds of five-star reviews online, with people calling it ‘life-changing’, ‘amazing’ and ‘beyond my expectations’.
The Exhausted Mum has given it her seal of approval on Instagram, saying “I’d seen loads of people banging on about it on Insta so thought I’d give it a shot, and have to say, I’m impressed.”
Beauty blogger Jane Meadows has also joined the chorus of praise, declaring the gel a must-have for exhausted mamas. “So all ye beautiful mamas with tired eyes, our lives are about to be transformed!”, she said.
Made In Chelsea star Rosie Fortescue has called it “the dream” in one of her Instagram stories. Other users have claimed that it reduced their dark circles and brought down puffiness – even faster than expected.
The secret to this eye gel’s success is apparently its cucumber and elderflower extracts, combined with powerful Vitamin E. It smoothes and brightens as it goes on – and has surprisingly fast results.
Wake Skincare was created in 2016 by two friends, Anton Burton and Alex Mavor. They met at Leeds university and while they were raising funds to launch, they used the library there as their office. The eye gel has been a huge success, bringing in £400,000 in the past financial, making it Amazon’s bestselling eye gel ever.
Even better, they never test products on animals and a donation is made to Women’s Aid for every bottle bought.
