The panic attack occurred in 2014 when Angela was on holiday in France.

She imagined the roof of the care she was travelling in was getting lower and lower and she struggled to breathe as she felt the vehicle close in on her.

Angela said: “For me, it’s a really very visceral feeling in my stomach, there’s pressure on my chest, a breathlessness – it’s quite physical.

She continued: “Now I have to almost start easing into a holiday, otherwise I will spend most of the time either trying to jump out of a moving car or slightly freaking out and then only relaxing two days before I am due to go home.”
